Mr. Stelleo Passos Tolda has been the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Mercadolibre, Inc. since April 1, 2009. Mr. Tolda served as Country Manager of Brazil of from 1999 to April 1, 2009. Mr. Tolda is In-Charge of all activities in Brazil. He served as Senior Vice President of Mercadolibre Inc. from 1999 to April 1, 2009. Prior to Mercadolibre, Mr. Tolda served in several financial institutions, such as investment banks Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and Lehman Brothers Inc. in the United States, in 1998 and 1999, respectively and Banco Pactual S.A. and Banco Icatu S.A. in Brazil, from 1996 to 1997 and from 1994 to 1996, respectively. He holds an MBA from Stanford University and a Master's Degree and Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, also from Stanford University.
