Mr. Gerald M. Haines, II, has been the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Mercury Systems, Inc. since September 3, 2014. Mr. Haines has been the Chief Accounting Officer of Mercury Systems, Inc. since December 8, 2017. He served as the Chief Legal Officer and Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Mercury Systems, Inc. (formerly, Mercury Computer Systems, Inc.) since July 8, 2010 until September 2014. He has been Secretary of Mercury Systems, Inc since 2010 until September 2014. He served as Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President of BASF Enzymes LLC since January 2008 until June 30, 2010 and also served as its Secretary until June 30, 2010. He served as Executive Vice President of Strategic Affairs, Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of Enterasys Networks, Inc. since May 2001. From September 2000 to May 2001, he served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Enterasys Networks, Inc. At Enterasys, he played a key leadership role over six years in business planning, restructuring and revamping corporate policies and procedures and numerous operational responsibilities and also established a full-service legal department to manage all legal, transactional and regulatory matters within the United States and abroad. He served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Cabletron Systems, Inc., where he actively managed the initial public offering and spin-off of one subsidiary, the SEC registration and later sale of a second subsidiary, the dissolution and wind-up of a third subsidiary and the upstream merger of a fourth subsidiary, Enterasys and also oversaw its day-to-day operations of a 15-person legal department. From 1995 to 2000, Mr. Haines served as General Counsel and Secretary of Applied Extrusion Technologies, Inc. since 1995 until 2000 and served as its Vice President from 1998 to 2000. He began his legal career with Choate Hall & Stewart, LLP. He has been a Director of Micronetics Inc. since August 2012. He has been Director at Mercury Commercial Electronics, Inc. since August 2012. Mr. Haines received a J.D. degree from Cornell Law School and a B.S. degree in business administration, from Boston University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
