Mr. John A. Kraeutler, also known as Jack, has been Executive Chairman of the Board of Meridian Bioscience, Inc. since September 2014 and served as its Chief Executive Officer from January 28, 2008 to October 9, 2017. Mr. Kraeutler has been Executive Chairman of the Board of Meridian Bioscience, Inc effective October 9, 2017. Mr. Kraeutler served as the President of Meridian Bioscience Inc. since July 1992 and served as its Chief Operating Officer since January 1992. Mr. Kraeutler has more than 40 years of experience in the medical diagnostics industry and joined Meridian as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in January 1992. Before joining Meridian, Mr. Kraeutler served as Vice President, General Manager of a division of Carter-Wallace Inc. Prior to that, he held key marketing and technical positions with Becton, Dickinson and Company and Organon Inc. (Akzo Nobel). He has been a Director of Meridian Bioscience Inc. since 1997. Mr. Kraeutler served as a Director of Bioanalytical Systems Inc. from January 1997 to November 14, 2003. Mr. Kraeutler holds A Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing and a Master of Science degree in Biology from Seton Hall University.
