Mr. Bharat Kannan has been Chief Distribution Officer for Asia at MetLife, Inc. since September 1, 2015. Mr. Kannan joined MetLife in March 2015 as Head of Employee Benefits Asia. He served as Director and Chief Strategy Officer of Aon Japan Limited. He was responsible for client and organization strategy, coordinating Aon's Japan Group Worldwide and serves as a board member of Aon Japan Limited. He served as Regional Director of Asia at Aon Consulting, Inc. since July 2006. Prior to joining Aon Japan Limited, he worked at Aon's head office in Chicago as Vice President; Aon's Asia head office in Hong Kong as Regional Director and Aon's joint venture in China as Executive Director. He is a veteran of the US Air Force having served on active duty from 1992 to 1996. He holds Bachelor of Business Administration in international business from Temple University; Masters of Science in human resources management from DePaul University and completed Management Acceleration Program from INSEAD.
