John D. McCallion — Executive Vice President and Treasurer at MetLife

Mr. John D. McCallion has been an Executive Vice President and Treasurer of MetLife, Inc. since July 1, 2016. Mr. McCallion served as the Chief Financial Officer for Metlife's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Region of MetLife, Inc. since December 31, 2013 until July 1, 2016 and served as its Senior Vice President until July 1, 2016. He served as Vice President and Head of Investor Relations of MetLife, Inc. since February 15, 2011. Mr. McCallion manages and coordinates the presentation of MetLife's financial results and business strategies to the analyst and investor community. He served as vice president and head of finance for MetLife's Investments organization where he had been responsible for managing financial analysis and reporting, as well as the income and expense plan and projection process within Investments. He joined MetLife in July 2006 after spending 10 years in PricewaterhouseCoopers' insurance audit practice, where he worked with multinational and U.S. clients in the life and property/casualty insurance industries. He is a certified public accountant (CPA) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. McCallion holds a B.S. degree in accounting from Syracuse University and MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School.
