Mr. Mark H. Wilsmann has been Head of The Equity Strategies Group of MetLife, Inc since October 9, 2012. Mr. Wilsmann serves as Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Portfolio Management at MetLife Real Estate Investments. He is responsible for managing the MetLife's $40 billion commercial mortgage portfolio, including product line, strategy, pricing and origination activities via eight domestic and three international offices. He is also responsible for overseeing MetLife's $10 billion wholly-owned and joint venture equity real estate portfolio. He has led MetLife's commercial mortgage operation since 2003. Mr. Wilsmann has served in various capacities within the Real Estate group in Charlotte, Tampa and Atlanta, including portfolio management, asset management, acquisitions, dispositions, mortgage production and mergers integration. He was responsible for MetLife's real estate investment activities in the Western U.S., overseeing regional real estate offices in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and San Francisco. He serves as Vice Chairman of Commercial Mortgage - Commercial Real-Estate Securities. He serves as Director of the Mortgage Bankers Association. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and Commercial Real Estate Finance Council. Mr. Wilsmann holds an MBA a BA from Wake Forest University.
