Mr. Michael K. Farrell, Mike has been the Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Investors Group, Inc., and Met Investors Advisory LLC Since July 2002. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of MetLife Resources and Senior Vice President of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company since April 2001. Mr. Farrell has been President of Michael K. Farrell Associates, Inc. since January 1990. He has been an Executive Vice President of MetLife, Inc. Since December 2005. Mr. Farrell also serves as the Head of MetLife Investors Group, which manages the distribution of MetLife products (particularly variable annuities) through third parties including broker dealers and wirehouses, and MetLife Resources, which provides retirement products and services to non profit institutions. Mr. Farrell has been the Head, independent distribution, including St. Louis Missouri-based GenAmerica Financial since July 1, 2003. Mr. Farrell served as the Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President of MetLife Insurance Company of Connecticut. He served as Executive Vice President of Met Investors Series Trust - Clarion Global Real Estate Portfolio and MET Investors Series Trust - MET/AIM Capital Appreciation Portfolio since August 2002 and Met Investors Series Trust - SSgA Growth and Income ETF Portfolio (MET Investors Series Trust - Cyclical Growth and Income ETF Portfolio) since August 2000. He served as President and Principal Executive Officer of MetLife Life & Annuity Company of Connecticut (formerly, The Travelers Insurance Company) a subsidiary of MetLife Inc. Mr. Farrell served as Senior Vice President of MetLife, Inc. Mr. Farrell serves as a Director of MetLife Insurance Company of Connecticut.
