Jeffrey Davison — Chief Financial Officer at Mitek Systems

Mr. Jeffrey C. Davison, also known as Jeff, has been the Chief Financial Officer of Mitek Systems, Inc. since June 21, 2017. Mr. Davison served as Chief Financial Officer of Outbrain Inc. since September 2013. Mr. Davison is a seasoned financial executive who has more than 25 years of experience working at both public and private companies. In his twelve years at RightNow Technologies, he oversaw the Outbrain's annual revenues of $227M and played a key role in building RightNow Technologies from a privately held company through the IPO process and ultimately through a $1.8B acquisition by Oracle. Prior to RightNow, he served as the controller for Powerhouse Technologies, a multi-national, publicly held, technology and manufacturing company with more than $200 million in revenues and approximately 1,800 employees. He served auditing and accounting positions with PacifiCorp and KPMG. Mr. Davison served as the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Rightnow Technologies Inc. from January 29, 2008 to January 25, 2012 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer and Senior Vice President until January 25, 2012. Mr. Davison served as Vice President of RightNow Technologies. He joined RightNow Technologies in November 1999 as a Controller. He served as Vice President of Sales Operations of Rightnow Technologies from November 2000 to April 2006 and served as its Vice President of Finance and Operations since April 2006. Mr. Davison served as the Corporate Controller of Powerhouse Technologies Co., from 1998 to 1999 and Vice President of Finance and Controller of United Tote Company and the Sunland Racetrack and Casino, both divisions of Powerhouse Technologies from 1995 to 1999. Mr. Davison has previous experience in audit roles with KPMG LLP, an accounting firm and PacifiCorp, a diversified utility company. He is a graduate of Montana State University.
