Mr. Jeffrey Raich, also known as Jeff, is the Founding Partner of Moelis & Company since September 18th 2015. Mr. Raich has been Co-President of Moelis & Company since September 17, 2015 and Head of Mergers and Acquisitions since 2007. He co founded Moelis & Company and has been its Managing Director since 2007. He has been a Director at Moelis & Company since April 2014. He was the Joint Global Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at UBS Investment Bank. Mr. Raich joined UBS in 2001 and founded UBS's Exclusive Sales and Divestitures Group in 2002, which improved from a No. 9 ranking in 2002 to a No. 1 ranking as of the time he left the firm. He was a Managing Director and Head of West Coast Mergers and Acquisitions at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. He began his career as an investment banker with PaineWebber. He was a Member of the UBS Investment Bank Board and was Co-Head of Investment Banking. He served as the Chairman of UBS's Business Review Group. Mr. Raich has been in the investment banking industry for over 26 years and has advised on over 150 mergers and acquisitions transactions across a broad spectrum of industries. His clients have included public and private companies, private equity firms and hedge funds. Mr. Raich is a Member of the McIntire School of Commerce Advisory Board at the University of Virginia. He received a BS degree with Distinction in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia (Beta Gamma Sigma).
