He has been the Co-Chairman of Golden Road since 1993. He has been the Co-Chairman of Monarch Casino & Resort Inc, since 1993. He served as Director of Golden Road from 1973. Mr. Farahi holds a Biochemistry Degree from the University of California at Berkeley.
