What do you like best about the leadership team?
You can tell that our leaders are genuine across the executive leadership team.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Remove the pressures that drive favoritism, toxic work environment, politics . Put in policies that encourages team work, collaboration, respect, inclusion, personal responsibility etc
Get with the times be more modern in our tech solutions
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Different tier for benefits, bonus structure and offering, pension and some other matching contributions.
The compensation package is well-rounded with a good mix of medical coverage and competitive salary.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The pay is clearly not competitive.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We have a creative, dynamic, and close knit team.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
More teamwork and collaboration versus undercutting and viscious competitiveness, gossip and reputation destruction
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone here is open to helping you learn the business and Moneris.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
work life balance if you promote it action it don't just talk
The work politics and the gossip culture needs to be really handled. Is at the point where everybody is passing around negative information about others
What did you like most about the interview process?
It was a good balance between formal and also casual enough to set you in a comfortable frame of mind for the conversation.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
If you are hiring someone with specialist knowledge, make sure the person who interviews that person also has the knowledge. Otherwise, we get interviewed by people who have no idea what we do.
What makes you most happy at work?
To work with a stellar team of individuals each day. I also really enjoy working with my current leader who is very supportive.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
They stab merchants in the back. Moneris makes mistakes and threaten to sue the merchant for Moneris errors
