As with most companies, it depends how high you are on the food chain and what position you hold. Morphotrust just finished a merger with another company and has rebranded to now be called Idemia. During the merger the other company wanted to drastically reduce costs, and as you can guess, that meant a lot of lay offs. I was one of them. I'd say for the people who are still working, the morale may be good in the sense that they still have a paycheck, but it could be bad as well because of the extra work load. I'm not real sure that they didn't do me a favor by laying me off. I know one thing though, I wouldn't go back if they called me today.
