Ram has close to 3 decades of experience and executive-level leadership in driving financial operations and executing enterprise-wide strategic plans. He has strong expertise in accounting, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, treasury and ESG, leading to shareholder value creation.
At Movate, Ramaseshan leads the company’s financial and legal areas with a team of experts responsible for finance, accounting, business intelligence, cash flow management, M&A, and the development of future investment strategies. He is also an integral part of Movate’s executive leadership team, influencing the company’s overall financial and operational strategy to support its continued growth.
Prior to joining Movate, he was the head of Global Business Services and India CFO at Cognizant and served as a board member of the Cognizant Foundation India. He was also part of Cognizant’s Global Executive Leadership Team (ELT), responsible for driving overall strategy and operations. He has previously served as CFO of Tata Elxsi and SQS India BFS. He has also had senior financial management stints in Wipro and IBM.
As an established leader in finance, Ram is a member of the India CFO Board, IMA India (International Market Assessment), and various other CFO Forums across the country.
He likes to hit the cricket field in his leisure time and enjoys listening to soothing music.
