Mr. Steinar Aasland has been a Senior Vice President of International Operations at MRC Global Inc. since October 1, 2015. Mr. Aasland served as Senior Vice President of Europe Region at MRC Global Inc. from September 1, 2014 to October 1, 2015. He served as the Chief Executive Officer for Stream AS (a/k/a Bj??rge Asa) since January 5, 2010 and previously served as its President since January 5, 2010. He was responsible for all business activities of STREAM's three Subsidiaries, Teamtrade, Solberg & Andersen and Energy Piping. Mr. Aasland has more than 20 years of executive management experience in the PVF industry. He served as Senior Vice President of MRC Global Inc since December 2013. Mr. Aasland has an extensive industrial management experience and comprehensive oil and gas industry expertise. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Align AS. He served as Head of Operation for Norway at Ahlsell AB. He joined Bjorge from Ahlsell Norge and served as its Managing Director since 2004. From 1992 to 2004, he served several managerial positions at Stavanger Rorhandel, which was acquired by the Swedish company Ahlsell. He served as a Director of Stream AS. Mr. Aasland serves as the Chairman of the Board for the Stavanger Chamber of Commerce. His educational background encompasses machine technology. He is a mechanical engineer and holds a masters degree in strategy and management.
