Executive Bio
Mr. Chandru Badrinarayanan has been Head of Sales, India at MSCI Inc., since June 2013. Mr. Badrinarayanan is responsible for new business development for MSCI's index, portfolio risk and performance analytics products and services throughout India and its neighbouring countries, as well as maintaining existing client relationships. Mr. Badrinarayanan served as the Senior Director of Institutional Sales - SME Ratings and Director of Banking for CRISIL Ratings at CRISIL Limited. Prior to joining MSCI, Mr. Badrinarayanan spent nearly 12 years at CRISIL Limited (a Standard & Poor's company) where he held several director-level business development roles, including responsibility for the development and promotion of their risk solutions business. Prior to joining CRISIL, he was a Consultant at Bridgenews (India) Limited for one year and spent nine years at Corporation Bank (Mumbai) in both front and back office roles. He served as an Executive Director of MSCI Inc., since June 2013. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst from ICFAI, a Certified Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers. Mr. Badrinarayanan has a Bachelor of Science from Osmania University.
