Executive Bio
Mr. Jeremy Baskin has been Head of Client Coverage - Americas at MSCI Inc. since September 2017. Mr. Baskin oversees MSCI's sales, consulting and client service teams in the Americas. Mr. Baskin serves as Director of Global Quantitative Active Strategies at Northern Trust Global Investment Services. He has more than 30 years of experience within the financial services industry, with a focus in the investment management business, including portfolio management, research, risk management, trading, compliance and sales management operations. Mr. Baskin served as the Global Chief Executive Officer of AXA Rosenberg Group LLC since 2011 and served as its Global Chief Investment Officer for Rosenberg Equities. Mr. Baskin served as Senior Marketer of Equity Derivatives Group at First Union Securities, INC; Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets from 1986 to 1988; and at various positions at Northern Trust. Prior to joining MSCI, Mr. Baskin served board positions on AXA's Investment Managers Management Board and various AXA IM global legal entities. He is a member of the Investment Analysts Society of San Francisco, Chicago Quantitative Alliance and the CFA Institute. Mr. Baskin is a CFA charter holder since 1999. He holds a BA in History from Wesleyan University and MBA in finance and marketing from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University.
