He serves as Chairman of Mueller Group, LLC. He has been an Executive Chairman of Mueller Water Products, Inc. since 2017 and served as its Chairman from October 2005 to 2017. He served as Chairman of Techno Quartz Inc. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Walter Energy, Inc. from September 2005 to December 14, 2006. He served as Chairman of Textron Golf, Turf and Specialty Products from January 2001 to January 2002. Mr. Hyland served as Chairman of the Valve Manufacturers Association of America and past advisory Member of the Board of Directors for Big Machines. He has been a Director of Ferro Corporation since December 2009. He has been a Director of Mueller Group, LLC since October 2005 and Trustee of Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation, Inc./MAPI, Inc. since June 2009. He served as Director of Techno Quartz Inc. He served as a Director of Walter Energy, Inc. since September 16, 2005. Mr. Hyland is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned his Bachelor's and Master Of Business Administration degrees.
