Gary A. King — Executive Vice President of International Operations at Myriad Genetics

Mr. Gary A. King has been a Executive Vice President of International Operations at Myriad Genetics Inc. since July 2010. Mr. King joined Myriad in July 2010. He oversees all aspects of Myriad's expansion into Europe and other international markets, including operations, sales and marketing, regulatory approval and pricing and reimbursement. He refines and executes Myriad's international strategy on a country-by-country basis, initially focusing on the major market countries of Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. He also initiates marketing plans in Europe for Myriad's eight molecular diagnostic products. Mr. King has been employed in the life sciences industry for more than 25 years. Mr. King served as the Chief Executive Officer of AverDx Incorporated. Prior to AverDx, he served as Vice President of International Operations at Biosite Incorporated since November 2003, where he spent six years building and leading all of Biosite's commercial activities outside the United States. He joined Biosite Diagnostics Inc. in November 2002 as Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Marketing and also served as its Vice President of Worldwide Marketing since July 2002. He served as National Director of Sales for Advanced Respiratory Incorporated. From 1987 to 2001, he held various positions in operations, sales, marketing, business development and general management for Hybritech, Eli Lilly and Guidant Corporation. He established marketing and logistics operations in Germany, France, Italy, the United Kingdom, Netherlands and Belgium and he established clinical operations and marketing programs in Asia. Prior to joining Biosite, he was Division Director in Japan for Guidant Corporation and led Guidant's transition from distributor to direct operations in the Japanese market. Mr. King holds Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology from Pomona College and an Masters of Business Administration degree from Stanford University.
