Dr. Doug Hanes, PhD, has been an Executive Vice President of P&C Product Management at National General Holdings Corp. since June 14, 2016. Dr. Hanes joined National General at inception in 2010. Prior to National General, he held various product management roles at GMAC Insurance, the predecessor company to National General from 2006 to 2010. Previously, he was a Litigation Consultant responsible for developing expert witnesses from various scientific professions and jury selection in Product Liability and Bad Faith Insurance cases at FirmLogic LLC from 2000 to 2006 and a Research Fellow at National Institutes of Health and University of Cambridge from 1997 to 2000. Dr. Hanes earned his PhD from Vanderbilt University where he studied Behavioral Neuroscience.
