Mr. David Reid serves as the Chief Marketing Officer at National Oilwell Varco, Inc Mr. Reid is charged with developing the market and strategic engine of NOV across regional operations and business segments in order to offer their customers a most valued position in their relative markets. He has been Vice President of Drilling and Well Services Division at International Association of Drilling Contractors since January 2012. Mr. Reid serves as Vice President for Services of the IADC Executive Board. Mr. Reid served as Chief Sales Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Accounts at National Oilwell Varco, Inc. He served as Vice President for E&P Technology and Business. He has been with National Oilwell Varco and its predecessors for 19 years. He has been in the oil industry for 22 years. He joined Varco International in 1992 serving in various positions through it and served as its Vice President of Marketing and Business Development. He serves as a Director of the IntelliServ. He serves on the NOV and Schlumberger IntelliServ Joint Venture Board. Mr. Reid also serves as the Chairman of the IADC Advanced Rig Technology Committee and a Founding Member of the SPE Drilling Systems Automation Technical Section.
