Ms. Patricia M. Lawicki, also known as Pat, serves as the Chief Information Officer and Executive Vice President at Navient Corporation. Ms. Lawicki is responsible for all information technology functions including application development, architecture, information security, infrastructure and operations, and enterprise data warehouse, facilitating a secure, simple, and successful customer experience. She ultimately ensures customers have a simple, secure, and successful experience. With more than 30 years of experience, she has expertise in leading large IT organizations and transforming programs for Fortune 500 companies. She joined Navient in 2014. She served as Senior Vice President of Global Delivery for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., where in addition to her core information technology responsibilities, she helped establish a program for Millennials entering the workforce. She served as the Chief Information Officer of Pacific Gas and Electric Company since January 12, 2005 and also served as its Senior Vice President November 1, 2007. She served as Vice President of Pacific Gas and Electric from January 12, 2005 to October 31, 2007. Ms. Lawicki was responsible for the utility's information systems, including those involved in customer transactions, billing, outage information tracking and communications, call center support, as well as budget and finance, enterprise-wide office systems, networks and other related areas. Ms. Lawicki served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President/Vice President, Enterprise Integration and Strategy of NiSource Inc. from April 23, 2003 to January 7, 2005. She served as Interim Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Operations Integration and Support of NiSource. Ms. Lawicki joined NiSource in 1996 as Director of Information Technology. She spent 30 years as an Information Technology and Management Consultant, with extensive experience in utilities' information systems. Ms. Lawicki earned a Bachelor's degree in Technology Management/Management from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University.
