Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
What do you like best about the leadership team?
If by "leadership team" we mean the C-level execs, I can't say I have found much to like. I love my direct boss, though. He's extremely open and honest, and he really does care about making this a better place to work. It's unfortunate he has to work within the confines he works in.

What is the best part about your compensation package?
Free medical insurance, 401k match
MeDiCal package for single is very affordable
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I am paid less than the others in my position despite having more experience than almost all the others both overall and at the company and having work output that matches or exceeds the others.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are all extremely interested in making our product the best it can be. Self motivated and driven by something other than doing the minimum to make a paycheck. All extremely open to giving and receiving feedback, learning from each other, and taking on tough problems.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
My direct teammates are what makes it a positive environment for me. If it weren't for them, it would be awful to work here.

What did you like most about the interview process?
It was very laid back. I got to take an assignment home to do beforehand, then I spent an hour talking about that and my past experience with two other developers. It didn't feel like an interview and I much preferred it to white-board coding.
the business plan, it allowed us to show our personality through the presentation

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Execs are failing to respond to changing market conditions and making extremely short-sighted decisions that will likely continue to cost them talent and money for as long as they fail to respond.
