Executive Bio
Mr. Michael Leung serves as a Corporate Finance Director of Genesis Global Strategies Limited. Mr. Leung has been a Consultant with Koffman Securities, a brokerage firm in Hong Kong since April 2002. He serves as the Responsible Officer of North Asia Strategic Advisors, which provides corporate finance advices. He has over 25 years of experience in financial services in Asia with a strong focus in the Greater China region. He held senior positions in the corporate finance departments of Warburg Dillion Read Asia Limited, SocGen-Crosby Limited and Peregrine Capital Limited. He also held senior positions with SG Securities (HK) Limited, Swiss Bank Corporation, Hong Kong Branch and Optima Capital Limited where he provided financial advisory services. Mr. Leung has been a Director of NetEase, Inc. since July 11, 2002 and AR Evans Capital Ltd. since November 2004. He serves as a Non-Executive Director of Infoserve Technology Corp. He serves as an Independent Non Executive Director for China Ting Group Holdings Limited, Anhui Expressway Company Limited, Junefield Department Store Group Limited and Golden Harvest Entertainment (Holdings) Limited. He served as a Director of Emerging Markets Partnership (Hong Kong) Limited, which is the principal adviser to the AIG Asian Infrastructure Fund L.P from 1999 to 2001. Mr. Leung served as a Director of Warburg Dillon Read from November 1997 to October 1998, where he was involved in corporate finance activities in China. From January 1994 to August 1997, he served as a Director of Crosby Securities heading the Corporate Finance Division covering the Hong Kong and China markets. He served as Director of Peregrine Capital Limited from January 1992 to December 1993, where he was responsible for marketing Peregrine's corporate finance services in Hong Kong and China. He also served on the Board of EMP Global LLC. Mr. Leung holds a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences from the University of Hong Kong in 1977 with a major in accounting, management and statistics.
