He served as General Manager - Gulf Coast of Newfield Exploration Co. and took over responsibility for the Gulf Coast effort in mid-2001 and led the integration of Newfield Exploration Co.'s acquisition of EEX Corporation. He served as a team leader in the Gulf of Mexico division. He served at Meridian Oil Company and Tenneco Oil Company. He studied Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
