Jonathan Mazur — Senior Managing Director of National Research at Newmark

Mr. Jonathan Mazur serves as Senior Managing Director of National Research and National Head of capital markets research at Newmark Knight Frank. Mr. Mazur joined Newmark Knight Frank as a Director of capital markets research in 2013. A respected market analyst with 15 years of experience, Mr. Mazur oversees regional research in support of the Newmark Knight's brokerage, marketing and business development initiatives, identifying market trends and establishing standards and best practices. He manages a team of 14 analysts dedicated towards supporting Newmark Knight Frank's brokerage professionals. His customized current and historical market analysis and reports have been an invaluable resource for clients, including SL Green, Mack Cali, Trinity Real Estate, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, The Carlyle Group and Goldman Sachs. Notably, he has worked with the Real Estate Board of New York and the Department of City Planning on the East Midtown rezoning plan. Mr. Mazur is a popular source with media outlets seeking insight into the real estate market. Prior to joining Newmark Knight Frank, Mr. Mazur served as a Director of New York research at Cushman & Wakefield, where he co-led a team of research specialists in identifying and analyzing commercial real estate market trends to support existing clients and attract new business. Working with the firm's chief economist, Mr. Mazur was instrumental in the development of its advanced forecasting models. In 2004, he was recognized as the Cushman & Wakefield Employee of the Year in its downtown New York office. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in New York. Mr. Mazur holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indiana University.
