I was an internal referral to Snowflake, so I felt like additional trust and competency was already extended. Got to the technical parts quickly, and were very engaged and engaging interviewers.
Flexibility to do my job, top SaaS tools to do my work, good computer equipment to do my work, and daily brief standups with my Manager so we are highly focused on results.
Accessible, helpful, competent. A great group of professionals. Under WFH, all very active on Slack, and good communication styles across multiple time zones. Level of trust is high, as competence of peers if high...so all good.
Well trained to listen, provide resources, tools and answers in quick fashion. As someone more new, I have a lot of processes to learn, and the Leadership team is highly approachable and available, and willing to solve my basic and complex questions/needs. Excellent experience so far.
I'm a senior level consultant/contractor and paid for my experience. I receive 1 to 3 LinkedIn offers weekly that are low, not marketplace. Pay mapped to FAANG giants, so Snowflake is highly competitive, and better pay than majority of Tech clients. RSU's to staff are very generous, with upside!
I sense a lot of front end effort in hiring the right competent people, so you can trust the peers around you, and get a lot of work done. No micro-management that I've seen. Just trust is extended, and managers quickly getting answers and tools so we can do our jobs efficiently. Lots to like.
