Executive Bio

Kevin L. Cole serves as head of investor relations for NRG Energy and NRG Yield. Kevin joined in 2016, after nearly 10 years of covering the NRG-family of companies from both the sell- and buy-side perspectives.

Prior to joining NRG Energy and NRG Yield, Kevin served as senior energy equity and credit analyst as well as energy sector team captain with Achievement Asset Management. Previously, he served as vice president on the Credit Suisse U.S. power and utility team with a mix of lead and co-coverage across the regulated utility, integrated power and independent power producer stocks. While there, he also served as research advisor on numerous investment banking-related offerings. Prior to Credit Suisse, he was an associate with Slocum conducting fixed income research and investment consulting services.

Kevin received his BBA with Honors from The University of Iowa with majors in Finance and Marketing with an emphasis in Accounting.
