Kenneth W. Long III — Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President and Corporate Controller at Nutanix

Mr. Kenneth W. Long, III, also known as Ken, has been the Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller at Nutanix, Inc. since May 2013. Mr. Long served as the Chief Financial Officer of Electric Cloud Inc. Mr. Long served as the Vice President of Finance of StrongView Systems, Inc. (StrongMail Systems, Inc.) since October 2006. Mr. Long served as Vice President and Corporate Controller of NetIQ Corp. since May 2004 and also served as its Chief Accounting Officer since July 26, 2005. He joined Netiq Corp. in December of 2003 as its Manager of SEC reporting. He served as an Audit and Business Advisory Senior Manager with KPMG, LLP, where he was responsible for providing audit and consulting services to various clients, including publicly held software and other high technology companies. Prior to joining KPMG in May 2002, he served as an Audit and Business Advisory Manager of Arthur Andersen, LLP. Mr. Long spent several years in public accounting with Big Four accounting firms, where his experience included SEC filings, initial and secondary public offerings, private placement debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions. He has more than a decade of senior management experience in public and private accounting. He also has a proven track record in private industry, holding finance executive positions at both public and private software companies including NetIQ and StrongMail Systems. He has more than 10 years experience in corporate financial planning and public accounting. He has led both small and large finance organizations responsible for public offerings, Sarbanes Oxley implementations, and the day-to-day management of the overall accounting function. Mr. Long holds a Bachelor of Science Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Nebraska, Omaha and is a Certified Public Accountant.
