Dr. Rajiv Mirani has been a Senior Vice President of Engineering at Nutanix, Inc. since January 2015. Dr. Mirani co-founded Teros, Inc., in 2000 and served as its Vice President of Engineering. He served as Vice President of Engineering at Citrix where he led research and development on the NetScaler product line. He served as Chief Architect and Technical Lead of Hewlett Packard's language tools for enterprise systems. He also developed HP's patented technology for debugging optimized code. Dr. Mirani's extensive experience in these disciplines led to the development of Teros' adaptive learning technology which enforces 'correct' application behaviour and blocks attack behaviours. He is a leading expert in the field of application security, compilers and programming languages. He has developed several patented and patent-pending technologies. He has conducted research in modern programming languages at NEC Research Institute and Yale University. Dr. Mirani holds a PhD from Yale University and a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
