Rajesh Asarpota — Executive VP & CFO at NuVasive

Mr. Rajesh J. Asarpota has been Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of NuVasive, Inc. since September 1, 2017. Mr. Asarpota served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Questcor Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since February 17, 2014 and also served as its Principal Accounting Officer. Mr. Asarpota joined Questcor from Life Technologies Corporation, where he served in a global leadership role as Vice President, Finance. Prior to his appointment, he held various financial leadership roles with Life Technologies Corporation. He joins NuVasive with nearly 25 years of experience in financial and executive leadership roles across the healthcare industry. Mr. Asarpota served as Vice President of Finance at Life Technologies, where he was responsible for providing financial leadership on the company's growth strategy, supply chain productivity, forecasting and analysis and financial modeling for mergers and acquisitions. From July 1992 to April 2004, Mr. Asarpota held various financial positions with the General Electric Corporation. Mr. Asarpota began his career at General Electric (GE) in the GE Financial Management program, including finance roles in commercial operations, plant and manufacturing analysis, sourcing and R&D analysis. Mr. Asarpota holds M.B.A. from Marquette University and Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Bombay.
