I feel so well treated as an employee, both financially and socially. My manager treats me with respect even though I am much younger than a lot of our other employees. Everyone always has a positive attitude at Ocular Therapeutix and that is because we all believe in what our product is doing.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I am paid fairly compared to others in my field at different companies and I appreciate the stock options and the bonuses that we get.
What makes you most happy at work?
I like the attitude that everyone carries, especially on my team. Its very uplifting and positive and keeps me wanting to come in to work and do my best every day.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I like how they keep the entire company informed about their decision making and explain the rationale behind it. They all believe in what we are doing and their positive attitudes are spread to all of the other employees.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I liked that I was able to meet every member of my team during the interview as opposed to just meeting my potential manager. It was nice to see the demographic of the team and to see how everyone worked together.
What are some of the best things about your team?
My team works in a unique environment where individuality is praised and there is lots of room to grow in your knowledge and career but at the same time, its very team oriented and everyone is always willing to help others when needed.
