Ms. Jerri L. DeVard has been Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer of Office Depot, Inc. since January 2018, leading their eCommerce, Customer Service, Marketing and Communications functions. Ms. DeVard served as Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President at The ADT Corporation since March 31, 2014 until May 2, 2016. She leads ADT's marketing efforts across the Residential, Small Business and Health business units and she oversees all strategic, operational and financial aspects of its integrated marketing programs, including brand advertising, digital marketing, communications, lead generation, sponsorships and other initiatives. She served as Chief Marketing Officer and Executive Vice President of Office Depot, Inc. since September 14, 2017 until December 2017. She has been an Advisor of Nokia Corporation since June 14, 2012. She has over 30 years of extensive marketing experience across leading consumer brands, including Verizon, Citigroup, Revlon, Harrah's Entertainment and the Pillsbury Company. Her expertise encompasses brand management and multi-cultural marketing, with a strong foundation in direct marketing and e-commerce. She served as the Chief Marketing Officer, Executive Vice President and Member of Nokia Leadership Team of Nokia Corporation from January 1, 2011 to June 30, 2012. She served as the Principal of DeVard Marketing Group since 2007 and from July 2012 to March 2014. She served as Senior Vice President of Retail Markets Group at Verizon Avenue Corporation. She was responsible for national marketing, advertising, brand management, online marketing and multicultural marketing. She served as a Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand Management of Verizon Communications Inc. from September 2005 to 2007. She served as Senior Vice President of Brand Management and Marketing Communications since January 2003, when she joined Verizon Communications Inc. Ms. DeVard served as the Chief Marketing Officer for Citigroup, where she was responsible for the overall marketing, sales and integration of Citigroup's e-commerce division as well as development and execution of the advertising and marketing for the AOL and Microsoft Partnerships. Prior to 2003, she held a variety of positions, including the Chief Marketing Officer of the e-Consumer business at Citibank N.A.; Vice President of Marketing for Revlon Inc.'s Color Cosmetics; Vice President of Marketing for Harrah's Entertainment; Director of Marketing for the NFL's Minnesota Vikings; and several brand management positions at the Pillsbury Company. She has significant expertise in brand management and marketing solutions for consumer products companies. She serves as Vice Chair of the Spelman College Board of Trustees. She has been a Director of Under Armour, Inc., since May 31, 2017. She has been a Director of The ServiceMaster Company, LLC since July 2016. She served a Director of ServiceMaster Global Holdings, Inc. since July 15, 2016 until January 09, 2018. She has been Director of The Advertising Council, Inc. since October 8, 2015. She has been Independent Director of Cars.com Inc. since May 31, 2017. She has been an Independent Director of Belk Inc. since 2010. She serves as a Director at Gurwitch Products, as a member of PepsiCo African American Advisory Board. She served as an Independent Director of PVH B.V. from February 2, 2004 to 2006. Ms. DeVard holds B.A. in Economics from Spelman College and MBA degree in Marketing from the Clark Atlanta University Graduate School of Business, Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
