Office Max Compensation Employee Reviews

What is the best part about your compensation package?

Associate discount is the best part

med insurance, and a 401k

Review from Sales Dept

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

my store manager gives me so much anxiety. and sometimes the schedules are a mess and i have to close alone.

Being paid more fairly not every adult can get a desk job that pays more I need experience and school for certain things just pay the workers more kids are moving out of there parents home at like 18 now sometimes 17 and need more pay

The amount I'm paid for the workload I'm expected to do and the environment I'm expected to work in is too low. It is far too stressful and management is, for the most part, completely insensitive to that.

Review from Sales Dept

I am the top seller at my store, and all I receive from the Assistant manager is content for how well I make sales.

Review from Sales Dept

I feel like there could be more workers hired to help.

Review from Sales Dept

We get paid low compensation for a load of work and get nothing to show for it.

Review from Sales Dept

Compared to our counterpart managers at the Office Depot stores and Staples, OfficeMax managers are the lowest paid.

in the 3 years I worked there I went from 7.25-7.80. Try living off of that.....
