The shifts I am scheduled are always overstaffed. I work for tip pool and the tips I receive are inadequate

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Actually wanting to work and see the team succeed, not just show up for a couple hours and get paid
We're getting to the point where we need to be less siloed in each department - we're starting to create more avenues to understand how each person is contributing to our overarching goals, but we need to do a better job of empathizing re: how one person's work effects another's.
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Organization and better management practices.
