I really working at OpenPhone, I'm happy to be here and am excited to grow with the company in the following year. However I would like to see an increase in company wide culture, our slack is a bit quiet and more opportunities to organically/socially connect with co-workers would be great.
What are some of the best things about your team?
People make or break any job and everyone at OpenPhone has been very easy to work with and fun to chat with in meetings. Everyone works hard at their individual craft and shows a passion for doing their best work in order for us all to succeed.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Being on par with the current market value for any position is extremely important, especially as the job market is currently very hot with lots of candidates. I feel valued not only because it's on par with the market but because OpenPhone was willing to come in above other offers.
What makes you most happy at work?
I thrive off of being challenged and I love how my co-workers are always pushing me to do my best work by being unafraid to give critical feedback (in a positive way!). Ultimately the people are what makes me most happy and any time I get to interact with someone new it's been really enjoyable.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I love that the leadership team genuinely cares. I have never gotten the sense that anything has been said or done just to put on a good face. What the team at the top does truly trickles down and they embody the people first mentality that's felt and carried down to the rest of the company
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The all hands meeting moving to weekly has been really great, especially as I'm in a role where I don't get to be in a lot of meetings and can miss out on getting time to interact with coworkers face to face in order to build relationships. I also love the kudos bit, such a warm addition!
