Mal Maginnis — President of Rapiscan Systems Inc at OSI Systems

Mr. Mal Maginnis has been the President of Rapiscan Systems at OSI Systems, Inc. since July 2017. Mr. Maginnis served as the President of Smiths Detection at Smiths Detection Group Limited from September 2011 to 2014 and served as its President of Asia Pacific Operations since 2004. He served as the President of Global Military & Emergency Responders at Smiths Detection, Inc. He served as the President of Asia Pacific at Smiths Detection-LiveWave, Inc. He held a series of senior positions at Smiths Detection including President, Head of Technology, Programs and Products and was the Head of the largest business unit managing the global military & emergency responder business. He served as Vice President of Asia Pacific since July 2001, after spending almost two years working extensively in the industry in Australia. He served as Vice President of Business Management Group for Smiths Detection at Smiths Group plc. Mr. Maginnis has an extensive professional career in many countries including training in Australia, Asia, UK and US. He served as a Consultant in the security Industry and held executive position within the Australian Defence Force in his 20 years service. He has more than 35 years in the defense, security, safety and technology industries and is an experienced senior executive of technology-based businesses. Mr. Maginnis holds Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree from the Faculty of Military Studies University of NSW and Graduate, UK Command Staff College.
