Mr. C. Andrew Smith, also known as Andy, has been the Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of Patterson-UTI Energy, Inc. since September 8, 2017. Mr. Smith served as the Chief Financial Officer of Kirby Corporation from February 2014 to September 7, 2017 and served as its Executive Vice President from February 25, 2014 to September 7, 2017. He served as an Executive Vice President of Finance of Kirby Corporation since January 2014. Mr. Smith served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Global Industries Ltd. from April 26, 2010 to December 1, 2011. He served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Benthic Geotech. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance NATCO Group Inc., since January 2009. He spent ten years at NATCO Group. He served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Finance of NATCO Norway AS since January 2009. He joined NATCO Group Inc. in June 2000 and served as its Vice President of Finance from May 2005 to January 2009. He held financial roles with Comfort Systems USA and the accounting firm of Price Waterhouse. Mr. Smith began his accounting career with PwC. He serves as Director of KW International, LLC. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas. Mr. Smith holds Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from the University of Houston in 1994.
