Mr. Seth D. Wexler has been Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Seventy Seven Energy Inc. since April 20, 2017. Mr. Wexler has been Senior Vice President of Patterson-UTI Energy, Inc. since February 2017 and has been its General Counsel and Secretary since August 2009. Mr. Wexler specialized in securities law and mergers and acquisitions for the law firm of Fulbright & Jaworski LLP from March 1998 to August 2009, including as a Partner since January 2007. He joined the Houston office of Fulbright & Jaworski, LLP. in 1998. He has been a Director of Seventy Seven Energy Inc. since April 20, 2017. He has the membership of Houston Bar Association, Houston Young Lawyers Association and Texas Bar Foundation of which he is a Fellow. He received his J.D., cum laude, in 1997 from the University of Houston. Mr. Wexler holds an M.B.A. in 1997 from The University of Houston, where he also received the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence and a B.B.A., with honors, in 1994 from The University of Texas at Austin.
