Mr. Paul T. Demzik has been President of Coaltrade International, LLC, a subsidiary of Peabody Energy Corp. from June 27, 2005. Mr. Demzik has more than 21 years of coal sales, trading and transportation experience. Mr. Demzik served as Vice President of Transcor Corporation in Pittsburgh from 1997 to 1999 and held positions with Phibro Inc., Consolidated Rail Corporation and Koch Carbon, Inc. Mr. Demzik served as Head of Coal and Freight Trading with EdF Trading Limited in London, U.K. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mining engineering from the University of Missouri -- Rolla.
