Jeffrey A. Hoyt — Principal Accounting Officer, Senior Vice President and Controller at People's United Bank

Mr. Jeffrey A. Hoyt serves as Controller and Senior Vice President of People's United Bank. Mr. Hoyt served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer of People's United Bank since February 2011. He has been Senior Vice President and Controller at People's United Financial Inc. since November 2007 and serves as its Principal Accounting Officer. He served as an Interim Chief Financial Officer and Senior Accounting Officer of People's United Financial Inc. Mr. Hoyt has 15 years of accounting and finance experience. He served as Vice President of Finance of Ethan Allen Interiors Inc., since April 30, 2003 and its Treasurer since April 2005 and also served as its Principal Financial Officer and Principal Accounting Officer. He was responsible for the development and execution of Ethan's financial policies and practices. He joined Ethan in August 2002 as Director of Corporate Accounting and Financial Reporting. Prior to that, Mr. Hoyt worked for KPMG LLP for ten years. He studied B.S. in Accounting from Fairfield University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Connecticut.
