Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Better benefits for my pets. Matching 401k. Better CE allowance.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

Young group. High turn over with limited experience in many cases. Stop calling in sick. Have some pride in your work.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

From the top down, corp managers and people need to start caring about employees before they are all driven from the field of veterinary medicine.

What does the leadership team need to get better at?

Managing people, hiring for attitude and experience; realizing that a warm body filling a position may not be helpful; realizing the importance of paraprofessional staff; realizing hat good medicine makes money?

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

Listen to the boots on the ground - the DVMs and LVTs…they know what is needed. Give them the tools and the reins to do what they do best - practice medicine. Corporations in general don’t seem to realize that good medicine make mo
