The company used to be edgy and supportive of its employees; now, we are just another number and while we deliver a huge profit for the investors, the company does not adequately invest in its employees or care about their wellbeing; it also has not considered the best way to plan for the future

The team and support of management at the store level

We support each other and challenge each other to improve the store every day
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Work has become frustrating because the company has abandoned its mission statement in order to turn a profit
What did you like most about the interview process?
It made me excited to be apart of a different type of company; unfortunately, the interview has not lived up to the job and the vision of the company
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Home Office team needs to improve their understanding of what happens at the store level instead of just blindly implementing policies and not considering how employees are affected; they need to fulfill their mission statement of "bettering days" throughout the whole company, not just Home Office
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our pay starts at minimum wage, but we are expected to do more than what a minimum wage worker would have to do (i.e., focus on developing certain competencies). I personal feel undervalued because I work much harder than others (particularly those in the office) but I am not recognized for my work
