Virginia Shanks — Executive VP & Chief Administrative Officer at Pinnacle Entertainment

Ms. Virginia E. Shanks, also known as Ginny, has been the Chief Administrative Officer of Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. since May 2013 and has been its Executive Vice President since October 2010. Ms. Shanks served as Chief Marketing Officer of Pinnacle Entertainment, Inc. from October 2010 to May 2013. Ms. Shanks served as the Chief Marketing Officer of Multimedia Games Holding Company, Inc. from July 2008 to October 1, 2010 and also served as its Senior Vice President until October 1, 2010. She served as Senior Vice President of Brand Management of Caesars Entertainment Corporation since 2003. She joined the in-house advertising agency at Harrah's Entertainment Inc. in 1983 and served as Vice President of Marketing for its Western Division since 1998. She served as Senior Vice President of Marketing for Harrah's Western Division, where she developed and implemented strategies to drive incremental revenue growth, customer retention and loyalty efforts. Ms. Shanks has 30 years of gaming industry experience in marketing & operations, regional and casino resort marketing, including the implementation of nationwide casino promotions, product development, sports and entertainment marketing, strategic alliances, consumer insights, retail and public relations. She also has oversight of Human Resources, Information Technology, the Heartland Poker Tour and gaming research and development. She has been a Director at Altria Group, Inc. since May 18, 2017. She is a recipient of The Chairman's Award for outstanding performance and the Corporate Excellence Award. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Nevada-Reno.
