Thomas P. Schnettler J.D. — Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Merchant Banking at Piper Jaffray Companies

Mr. Thomas P. Schnettler, also known as Tom, J.D. serves as the Managing Director in the merchant banking division at Piper Jaffray Companies. Mr. Schnettler serves as a Co-Chief Executive Officer at PJC Capital Management LLC. He served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at Piper Jaffray Companies from May 2008 to January 1, 2012 and Chief Financial Officer since August 2006. From July 2002 to August 2006, Mr. Schnettler served as Head of Corporate and Institutional Services for Piper Jaffray and Head of Equities and Investment Banking since April 2003. He served as Head of the Piper Jaffray's Investment Banking group since 2000, which Mr. Schnettler joined Piper Jaffray as an Associate in 1986 as a mergers and acquisitions banker. From 1988 to 2000, he served as Managing Director, Investment Banking of U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray Inc. Mr. Schnettler has been Vice Chairman of Piper Jaffray Companies since August 2006. He has been a Director of Sport Ngin, Inc. since June 25, 2014. Mr. Schnettler serves on the St. John's University Board of Regents and on the advisory board for the Lillehei Heart Institute of the University of Minnesota. He has extensive experience in public and private financing, as well as mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic transactions. Mr. Schnettler earned a bachelor's degree in government from St. John's University in Collegeville, Minn. and has a law degree from Harvard Law School.
