Erik J. Hansen — - at Plug Power

Mr. Erik Hansen served as Vice President of Sales & Hydrogen at Plug Power Inc. Mr. Hansen served as a Senior Vice President of at Plug Power Inc., since October 2009 and served as its Vice President of Sales, Service & Hydrogen. Mr. Hansen served as Senior Vice President of Sales Service and Hydrogen at Plug Power Inc. Mr. Hansen served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Motive Power Division at Plug Power Inc. since October 2009. Mr. Hansen is responsible for directing the Motive Power Division as it commercializes its fuel cell power products for material handling customers. He has more than 15 years of experience with cutting edge technologies related to energy storage systems. He joined Plug Power Inc. as Vice President of Business Development in 2008. He served as General Manager of Sales and Systems Engineering of Cobasys LLC since 2006, where he was responsible for sales of all Cobasys transportation and stationary products. Mr. Hansen joined Chrysler in 1994 and subsequently led the development of battery management electronics for DaimlerChrysler's electric vehicle team. He worked Cobasys for eight years. He joined Texaco Ovonic Battery Systems as Manager of Control Systems Group in 2001, where he developed electronic controls for use in HEV battery systems. He served as Transportation Sales Manager of Texaco Ovonic Battery since 2002 and assumed responsibility for sales of transportation battery systems. Mr. Hansen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, both from West Virginia University.
