Pluto TV on Roku has a beautiful new interface with immersive channel art, a featured section with recommendations and faster, more responsive channel surfing.

We have a great line up, with channels like CNET, The Onion and IGN as well as blockbuster movies from Paramount, TV show favorites such as Inspector Gadget, and news from trusted sources like NBC News.To download the Pluto TV Roku channel, please click here.

Supported Roku Devices =Firmware 7 and above

You can check your Roku Version by ClickingHome>Settings>System> About

Roku 1 + Roku 2 + Roku SE = Models 27XX (+Roku 242XX)

Roku 3 + Roku 4 = Models ALL

Roku MHL Streaming Stick = Model 34XX

Roku HDMI Streaming Stick = Models 35XX +3600X

Roku Random = Model 400, 2450, 2500, 26XX, 30XX, 31XX, 42XX.

Unsupported Roku Devices = Firmware 7 and below

You want to activate, we have the steps! Activation allows you to pair your smartphone as a remote and it allows you to edit the channel line up (hide/favorite) in your account.

Activation is currently available on the following devices -more to come, in the near future!

If you have one of the above devices, activation can be accessed by following these steps.

Visit Channel 02on the guide OR clickActivate-on the left side of the guide

You'll see a 6 digit code displayed at the top of the screen - that's what you need

There are 2 ways to enter the code - depending on your account / device

Logged in: clickMyPlutoon your phone > activate > enter digit code

Logged out / No account: Visit My.Pluto.Tv/activate and follow prompts

Want to unpair a device? Visit your MyPluto > Activate > Select Device > Tap 'X' to remove it.

Having a Pluto TV account adds extra features to your viewing experience.

To Hide/Favorite stations on your mobile, device or desktop follow these steps.

Click the My PlutoIcon/Link usually located at screen/page bottom

Click on theEdit Channelssection

Click the openEyeicon to Hide a channel

Click the Hearticon to Favorite a channel

To un-favorite or un-hide channels - Click the icons again to reverse your actions.

Please scroll to your device type below to view instructions on enabling CC.

Roku

1. During playback press theStarbuttonto open the Options menu

2. Scroll up or down and locateClosed captioningon the menu

3. Use the < Left or Right > button on your remote to choose captions

The different closed captions available to most devices are as follows:

Off captions never appear

On captions always appear

On replay captions appear after pressing Replaybutton if available

On mute captions appear when volume is muted -for some devices

Android

Ensure your accessibility settings are enabled on your Android device

1. Open your device's Setting app

2. Tap Accessibility, then tap Captions

3. At the top, tap the On/Off switcher

4. OnPluto Tv App, tap the screen > tap theCCicon to activate

5. Enable CC by tapping your preferred language

Amazon

Ensure your accessibility settings are enabled on your Amazon FireTV television

Settingsvary by television but start with > Settings> Accessibility > Captions

1. On Pluto Tv press the center / menufunction button on your television remote

2. Enable CC by tapping your preferred language

iOS - tvOS

Ensure your accessibility settings are enabled on your Apple device

1. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility

2. Scroll to the Media section and tap Subtitles & Captioning

3. Turn on Closed Captions + SDH

4.On Pluto Tv - Tap the screen, tap theCCicon

From the Roku Home screen, choose Settings.

Choose System.

Find and select System update.

Select the Check Now button to run a system check.

You will see the Roku update Pluto TV channel.

Note: Once update is complete, you can click back to Home and select Pluto TV channel and hit * to view the updated app version.

tvOS

To ensure that you have the Apple TV /tvOS 12.0- the latest version(s) of the app...

From the Home screen, chooseApp Store.

Choose Purchased.

Find and select the Pluto TV appto update.

Select the Install icon and Pluto TV will download to your Apple device.

Note: Once update is complete, you can re-open the updated app version from update screen.

How to enjoy Pluto Tv on your Channel Master Stream+ CM-7600

Install PlutoTV App from Google PlayStore:

Press theHOMEbutton on your remote

Navigate down to Google Play Storeunder Apps row and hit OK

Navigate to theMagnifying glasspress OK andsay, PlutoTV into the remote

You'll see the PlutoTVapp. Navigate down to the PlutoTV tile and press OK

Choose Install and allow it to finish the download

*To integrate PlutoTV into Live Channels Program Guide;

While watching live TV press the OK.

Navigate to "New Channels Available" and press OK

Highlight and Select PlutoTV/New.

You'll see PlutoTV, 1XX Channels

Navigate DONE and press OK.

Press GUIDE button on remote control.

You're now ready to enjoy the PlutoTVchannels included in the guide.

If you are experiencing any issues on your Amazon Fire TV or Amazon Fire TV Stick, you may want to clear your cache and data from the Pluto TV app.

To clear cache & data:

Go to Settings

Click on Apps

Click on Manage All Applications

Find Pluto TV

Click Clear Cache & Data.

Reboot the Pluto TV app

BROWSER -Viewing on the Web -with your Laptop or Computer

For the best viewing experience on your Desktop / Laptop, please use Chrome or Firefox.

You can watch Live tv and On Demand. You can manage CC and Volume on screen.

Requirements:

-Roku 3 or Roku Streaming Stick (HDMI version)

-Android device running 4.4.2 or higher -Roku Info /Devices.

Steps for casting on to your Roku 3 or Roku Streaming Stick:

1. Go to Settings on your device and click on Display or Display & Lights

2. Scroll to and tap on Cast Screen

3. Your Roku should now appear in the Cast Screen section. Tap your Roku name to connect.

NOTE: If your Roku is not appearing, tap the Menu button in the top right corner of the screen and selectEnable Wireless Display. If this does not work, make sure to "Enable Screen Mirroring -Roku Info.

Good news! You can cast your favorite Pluto Content to a Chromecast device! YAY!

Chromecast via Chrome Browser steps:

Open your ChromeChrome browser

At the top right, click More here Cast...

Choose your Chromecast device from the available list

If you're already using the Chromecast, you'll see the active icon

PRESTO - you're casting to your viewing device, from your browser!

Chromecast via your Mobile device:

Open the Pluto Tv app on . your mobile device

While viewing content, tap the cast icon top-right

Choose the Chromecast device from the available device list

PRESTO(again) - you're mobile device is casting to your viewing device!

2. Go to Developer Options

3. Tap 'Take Bug Report' at the top

4. Please wait a few minutes for the report to generate

When the report is ready, an email will be created for you that contains the necessary information. Please send the report to us directly at [email protected]

* Please Note:If you don't see the 'Developer Options' available, you may need to enable.

Go to > Settings > About Phone> Build numbertap it 7 times to enable Developer options.

You can change the channel various ways, depending on your device.

Web/Desktop: You click directly on any channel in the Channel Guide. You can either scroll with your mouse and click OR use the arrows on your keyboard to change channels.

Mobile:You can click directly on the channel in the guide, and in 'Full scree' mode, you can simply tap anywhere on the screen to bring up the channel options.

Roku and Apple Tv: You can use the proprietary remotes for those platforms.

We currently do not support Apple AirPlay in-app butyou can utilize the Mirroring feature iniOS to Mirror your screen to an Apple TV to play Pluto TV on your larger screens.

To get started you will need one of these devices:

iPhone 4 or later; 4s or later for AirPlay Mirroring

iPad or iPad mini; iPad 2 or later for AirPlay Mirroring

iPod touch (4th generation or later); iPod touch (5th generation or later)

Turn Airplay Mirroring ON

On your iOS device,you will want to swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Control Center

Tap the 'AirPlay' button on the bottom right.

Tap the name of the device you want to stream content to. You'll see icons of a TV screenor speakernext to each device so you know what type of content you can stream.On iPad, you might need to scroll to see all of the available devices in the device list.

If you want to stream iTunes Store content, you also need an Internet connection.

You can download and accessthePC and Mac Appby visiting the download link. Simply click on the 'Download Now' button anddouble click the Pluto TV icon to fully install it your PC or Mac. This will then open up as an application on your desktop and can be utilized the same way you would on the Pluto TV web site.

You can now navigate to http://pluto.tv to change your password.

Click on the "Sign-Up" link in the upper right hand corner of the site.

Click on the "Log In" prompt in bottom of the registration window.

Click on the "Reset Password" link.

Enter your username or email and click the "Reset Password" button to submit your reset request.

You will receive an email within minutes with a link to reset your password. Simply follow the link to enter and verify your updated password.

Once logged into your Pluto TV account, click SETTINGS /EDIT PROFILE

Select which you'd like to update update on this screen -Email orPassword

Once you've selected what you'd like to update, you can make changes here

If you are having issues connectingto Chromecast from your mobile device, please first make sure that both the mobile deviceand Chromecast are connected to the same WiFinetwork.

NOTE: Backgrounding the Pluto app OR turning off the screen will end the connection from the app to your Chromecast. Please keep the Pluto TV app opened to continue casting.

If that doesn'tresolve the casting connection, please try the following:

Restart your app session by closingthe Plutoapp and re-opening on your mobile device.

Restart your network connection and reconnect both the Chromecast device and your mobile device to your network.

Uninstall the Pluto app and reinstall from the app store.

If you are experiencing the video displaying a playback error, you may need to update your version of Flash Player.

If youre using the Pluto TV app on a computer, some videos may be streamed through Adobe Flash Player, a plug-in for your web browser. Here's how to upgrade to the latest version of Adobe Flash Player and ensure the best viewing experience:

Close the Pluto TV app on your computer

Check your Flash Player version

Download the latest version

Exit your browser onceyou'vedownloaded the file

Open the Adobe Flash Player Installer on your computer to complete the installation process

Open the Pluto TV app on your computer to confirm playback has been restored

Steps for uninstalling Pluto TV app from your Windows desktop:

Open Programs and Features by clicking the Start button,clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Programs and Features.

Select thePluto TV app, and then click Uninstall. Some programs include the option to change or repair the program in addition to uninstalling it, but many simply offer the option to uninstall.

Steps for uninstalling Pluto TV app from your Mac desktop:

Drag the Pluto TV app from the Applications folder to the Trash (located at the end of the Dock), then choose Finder > Empty Trash. If you change your mind, before emptying the Trash, select the app in the Trash, then choose File > Put Back.

WARNING: When you empty the Trash, the app is permanently removed from your Mac.
