Charles N. Eldred MBA — Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President at PNM Resources

Mr. Charles N. Eldred, also known as Chuck, MBA, serves as Chief Financial Officer of PNM Resources, Inc. Mr. Eldred serves as Executive Vice President of Public Service Co. of New Mexico and PNM Resources Inc. since July 23, 2007. He serves as an Executive Vice President at Texas-New Mexico Power Company. He served as Senior Vice President of PNM Resources Inc., and its wholly owned subsidiaries Texas-New Mexico Power Co. from January 1, 2006 to July 23, 2007. He served as Senior Vice President of Public Service Co. of New Mexico from January 2006 to July 2007. Prior to joining PNM Resources, he served as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Corporate Services-Financial at Omaha Public Power District (OPPD) since 1999. Prior to OPPD, he served as the Head of financing and capital markets at Southern Company. At Southern Company, Mr. Eldred executed debt and equity financing strategies and managed rating agency and investment banking relationships associated with capital markets. He started his career in the energy industry in 1976 at Georgia Power in Atlanta and held positions in customer service, accounting and finance. He serves as a Director of Public Service Co. of New Mexico, a wholly owned subsidiary of PNM Resources Inc. He serves as a board member for ACCION New Mexico/Colorado/Arizona, ACCION Executive Committee and the FM Global Advisory Board. He served as Director of Presbyterian Healthcare Services. He serves on the Board of trustees for the Boy Scouts of America Mid-America Council. He serves on the Board of directors of Nebraska Humane Society. He serves on the Board of directors, Executive Committee (treasurer) and Finance Committee (chair) for the United Way of the Midlands and is on the Board of counselors for the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In 1990, Mr. Eldred was recognized as Professional of the Year by the Georgia Power Accounting and Finance Association. In 1992, he was recognized as Manager of the Year by the Georgia Power Leadership Development and Recognition Association. Mr. Eldred holds Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Georgia and Master's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. He has also received certification in the Reactor Technology Program for Utility Executives from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Department of Nuclear Engineering and the National Academy for Nuclear Training. He received his master's of business administration from Mercer University and his bachelor's degree in business from the University of Georgia.
