Barry F. Cohen — Executive VP & Chief Strategy Officer at PTC

Dr. Barry F. Cohen, Ph.D., has been Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President of PTC Inc. since August 25, 2016. Dr. Cohen served as an Executive Vice President of Strategy at PTC Inc. since October 2010 until August 25, 2016. Dr. Cohen served as Executive Vice President for Global Services & Partners at PTC Inc. Dr. Cohen is responsible for PTC's consulting, training (PTC University) and managed service businesses. He is also responsible for worldwide services partnerships and alliances and the PTC global academic program. Dr. Cohen served as an Executive Vice President of Strategic Services and Partners at PTC Inc. from August 2002 to September 2010. He was responsible for PTC's global human resources, customer care, technical support, enterprise consulting partners, global services consulting and operations, Product First practice and education services. He served as an Executive Vice President of Marketing and Human Resources at Parametric Technology Corp. from December 2000 to July 2002 and its Executive Vice President of Marketing from January 1998 to November 2000. Dr. Cohen joined PTC in January 1998. He served as Senior Vice President, Human Development and Organizational Productivity at Computervision Corporation from November 1993 to January 1998. Dr. Cohen was a Co-founder of Possibilities Inc. and served as its President. He served as a Director of Broadridge Content Solutions, Inc. (alternate name Newriver Inc.). He authored or co-authored several books on leadership and organizational change, including The Wellness Sourcebook, Ethical Leadership, Leadership Myths and Realities and The Possibilities Economy: New Capital Development. He also published many professional articles and a series of training manuals. Dr. Cohen holds a doctorate in logic and philosophy of science from the University of Buffalo.
