Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

If we also got bonuses for the extra work we did like the higher ups do, who didnt do any of the work.

I did not receive a raise or promotion when I poured a lot of effort into the company for over a year during a particular assignment, and when I expressed this to a VP, that person shut me down with some vague pseudo-metrics.
