Dr. Martin Scott, Ph.D., serves as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Cryptography Research Division at Cryptography Research, Inc. Dr. Scott has been Senior Vice President at Rambus Inc, since August 2010 and its Chief Technology Officer since December 4, 2017. He served as General Manager of Cryptography Research Division at Rambus Inc, until December 4, 2017. He served as Chief Technology Officer at Rambus Inc, since August 2012. Dr. Scott serves as the General Manager of Cryptography Research Division at Rambus Inc. Dr. Scott joined Rambus in 2007. He served as a General Manager of New Business Group at Rambus Inc. from August 2010 to August 2012 and also served as its Senior Vice President of Research & Technology Development since December 2006. He served as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Rambus Inc, from December 2006 to August 2010. He joined Rambus from PMC-Sierra, Inc., where he served as a Vice President and General Manager of its Microprocessor Products Division from March 2006 to December 22, 2006. Dr. Scott served as Vice President and General Manager the I/O Solutions Division (which was purchased by PMC-Sierra) of Avago Technologies Limited from October 2004 to October 2005 and from October 2005 to March 2006. He served as Vice President and General Manager of the ASSP Division at Avago Technologies from March 2002 to October 2004 and before that, he served as Network Products Operation Manager. He started his career in 1981 as a Member of the technical staff of Hewlett Packard Laboratories before holding various management positions at HP and being appointed ASIC Business Unit Manager in 1998. In addition to over 25 years of semiconductor experience, he has had considerable experience utilizing a global workforce and partnerships to deliver value to customers. He is the author or co-author of over 30 technical publications and four patents. Dr. Scott earned his BSME at Rice University in 1976 and holds both an MS and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University in 1977 and 1981 respectively.
